Announcements for the Week of 4/6/2025

1. We will be holding a Lenten Retreat for men on Saturday, April 12 at noon, and for women on Sunday, April 13 at 2 PM. If you plan to attend, please RSVP so that we will have enough materials for everyone. Please see the poster on the bulletin boards for more information.

2. If you ordered candles and essential oils from the Assumption Youth Group, don’t forget to pick them up after Mass or at the parish office. Thank you for your support!

3. On Tuesday, April 8 at 5:30 PM, Bishop Peter Baldacchino will preside over the annual Chrism Mass alongside all the priests of the Diocese at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Las Cruces. The priests will renew their priestly promises, and Bishop Baldacchino will bless the Holy Oils that are used in sacramental celebrations in all the parishes of the Diocese throughout the year. The local Church will be gathered together as one, and we invite you to join the Bishop and all the priests for this important celebration. 4. The Priests’ Assembly will be on April 7 through 9, and there will be no reconciliation or daily Masses on the 8^th or the 9^th. Also, there will be no Adoration this Thursday, the 10^th.

5. On Tuesday and Wednesday during Holy Week, Fr. Jarek plans to visit our sick parishioners who can’t come to the Church. If you know a sick person who needs a home visit, please call the parish office this week.

6. Don’t forget we have Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent after the 12:10 PM Mass and at 6 PM. This Friday, Stations of the Cross will be led by students from All Saints Catholic School. See their flyer in the bulletins and on the bulletin boards.
