1. Youth Faith Formation is for children in Kindergarten through Confirmation. We also have classes for children who need Baptism and First Communion. 


Registration for Youth Faith Formation is open! You can register in-person this Wednesday, August 7, from 3 – 6 pm in the church Conference Room. You can also register in the church office during office hours. The registration fee will go up $10 per child beginning August 8. So, take advantage of the lower cost and register by Wednesday, August 7. Youth Faith Formation parents meeting is August 21 and classes begin August 28.


We need aides for a couple of Youth Faith Formation classes and substitute teachers and aides are needed for all grade levels. Please volunteer with Carol Dutchover or in the church office.
 
2. The Community Kitchen is looking for one or two volunteers to work one Thursday a month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Assumption is one of the many churches that has volunteers plate and serve meals. If interested, please call the Assumption Parish office.


3. The funeral homes will not be sponsoring our calendar this year. We are sorry but we will not provide 2025 calendar this year.
 
4. An Open House is planned at the All Saints Science Lab (in the portable), which has been transformed thanks to the generosity of many parishioners. Stop by and see the improvements on Sunday, August 11, after the 11:00 AM mass.
 
5. Due to my medical tests in Albuquerque there will be no confession and Masses on Tuesday and Wednesday. If you would like to participate those days to the Mass please participate at the Poor Clares or other Roswell Parishes.
 
6. On August 15
th we are celebrating our Parish Feast. But our annual Fiesta will be on Sunday, August 18th. For more information please check the poster.
 
7. Next weekend we will have the second collection. Catholic Charities of Southern New Mexico is called to enact the corporal works of mercy: that the hungry might be fed, the naked clothed, the homeless sheltered, the sick and imprisoned visited, the stranger welcomed, all with the dignity proper to the children of God. Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Las Cruces is the visible expression of the Catholic Church’s solidarity with persons in need.
