Parish Announcements for the Week of 11/26/2023

1. Bishop Peter is inviting everyone to the UIM Thanks-for-Giving Mass, which will be celebrated on Friday, December 1st at 6:30 PM at St. John Parish. Please join us!

2. On December 2nd and 3rd we will host Sisters of Jesus the Saviour from Nigeria in our Parish. During weekend Masses, the sisters will tell us about their mission, and there will be an opportunity to support their Projects. For more information, please check the poster.

3. Assumption Altar and Rosary’s annual Christmas Bazaar will have Christmas gift shopping with homemade baked goods, Christmas décor, homemade items sewn and crafted by our St. Mary’s Craft Group, and lots of jewelry. Saturday, we will have homemade soup and home-baked bread. Sunday, we will have coffee and donuts. We also have Christmas Gift Baskets for the raffle. Come join us Saturday, Dec. 2, 8 am – 2 pm, and Sunday, Dec. 3, 10 am – 1 pm in the Parish Hall.

Also, the Altar and Rosary Society needs your donations of baked Christmas cookies, cakes, and any type of pastries you can make! We also need homemade soups and bread. Our Christmas Bazaar relies on your help. Proceeds from the Bazaar benefit Assumption Parish.
