Parish Announcements for the Week of 9/10/2023

1. The ushers will take the second collection for Catholic University. Thank you for your donations.
 
2. After Mass, St. John’s will be selling raffle tickets for a Toyota Camry, to be drawn at their Parish Festival on the 24th of September. Tickets are $20 each.
 
3. The Grief Support Group will be starting again on September 6 and will take place on Wednesdays, from 6 to 9 PM, through November 29 in St. Peter’s community room. Call St. Peter’s parish office for more information.
 
4. Now I will read a special invitation for boys from middle school to high school. Our Diocese is organizing a boys retreat, September 22-24: “Where are you going in your life?” This retreat is a time for adventure, fraternity, and prayer as we rediscover God’s plan for men, and His plan for each boy in particular as He grows into the man God has created him to become.

Retreat Weekend Includes:

- All meals and snacks

- Lodging (bunk-style)

- Adventure & Games.

Cost covered by the Diocese of Las Cruces Vocations Office. For more information, please check the poster located on the bulletin boards.

5. On Monday, September 11, will be the 22nd anniversary of the attack on the World Trade Center. We invite you to join the “Flame of Love” Rosary at 12:10 PM.
 
6. Also on the bulletin boards, there is an ASCS poster about the book fair. Please read it after the Mass.
