1. The ushers will take the second Collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development. Thank you for all your donations.

 

2. The Altar & Rosary annual Bazaar and Bake Sale will continue tomorrow from 8 AM to 1 PM [today until 1 PM]. They still have raffle tickets available; the raffle will take place at 1 PM. Stop by and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and have your picture taken with St. Nick.

 

3. The annual Mt. Cristo Rey Pilgrimage is scheduled for Saturday, November 23. For more information, please check the poster.

 

4. The Good Samaritan needs blankets. They are requesting new or gently used blankets that have been washed. If you would like to donate, you may bring them to the Assumption Parish office or take them to the Good Samaritan. Thank you!

 

5. The Knights of Columbus will sell raffle tickets in the back of the church on the next two weekends, November 24 and December 1, for a drawing that will be held on December 15. See the poster for the exciting prizes.

 

6. If you signed up for the Veterans’ Lunch, don’t forget it’s on Wednesday the 20th at 11:30 AM. It’s free for veterans, and $17 for guests. If you are signed up as a guest and haven’t paid, you can do so at the door.

 

7. Fr Jarek is in good spirits. He has settled into a routine in the house that includes prayer. We [Fr. Mike & Fr. Jarek] pray together at 7 AM and in the evening. His voice is strong with that wonderful Polish accent we all cherish. He is following the doctor’s orders of getting rest which his body needs to heal. He has mentioned that his pain is moderate. He is very appreciative of the prayers offered on his behalf.
