Announcements for the Week of 12/1/2024

1. The Good Samaritan is requesting new or gently used blankets that have been washed. If you would like to donate, you may bring them to the Assumption Parish office or take them to the Good Samaritan.

2. The Knights of Columbus will sell raffle tickets in the back of the church after Masses this weekend, for a drawing that will be held on December 15. See the poster for more info.

3. The Knights of Columbus Council 3030 will be holding a degree formation at 1 PM tomorrow [today] at St. Peter’s.

4. There will be no youth group this evening, due to the holidays. We will resume on December 8.

5. The Diocese Matachines Day will be on Sunday, December 8. Please see the poster for more info.

6. Next weekend, we will have a second collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious, which distributes financial assistance to religious institutes based on a formula and criteria approved by the conferences of major superiors and bishops. These religious women and men have dedicated their entire lives to serving the community through prayer, teaching, and social activities. Thank you for your donations!

7. Fr. Jarek continues to improve. He is following the doctor’s orders of complete rest and slowly getting stronger. He appreciates all your well wishes and prayers.
