Announcements for the Week of 12/8/2024

1. The ushers will take the second collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious.

2. The Good Samaritan is still requesting new or gently used blankets that have been washed. If you would like to donate, you may bring them to the Assumption Parish office or take them to the Good Samaritan.

3. On our calendar, we advertised that the UIM Thanks for Giving Mass and Reception would be on December 16 in our parish. However, it will instead be at St. John’s on Monday, December 9, at 6:30 PM. We apologize for the confusion.

4. This year, the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary is on Monday, December 9. There will be two Masses, at 12:10 and 6 PM. It is a holy day of obligation.

5. The All Saints Catholic School Christmas Pageant will be on Tuesday, December 10, at 6 PM in the church.

6. The baptism class will be this Tuesday from 6 to 9 PM. Please call the office if you plan to attend, so that we can provide enough materials.

7. The Youth Group will have a Christmas party on December 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.
