Announcements for the Week of 9/8/2024

1. The ushers will take the Catholic University Second Collection. Thank you for your donations!!!
 
2. Order of Christian Initiation for Adults registration is open. It is for non-Catholic adults who are interested in Catholicism, and for baptized Catholic adults who have not been confirmed. If you are interested please call the Parish Office no later than next Friday, September 13^th.

3. The Adult Religious Education class meets on Thursdays at 6 PM and will be starting up again on September 19. This year, the class will be studying the Gospel of John through the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. This is a great opportunity to increase the knowledge of our faith. To register please call the Parish Office.
 
4. The Grief Support Group will be starting up again on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 PM, from September 11 to December 4, in St. Peter's Community Room. This year, they will be using a revised curriculum. Please see the poster for more information.
 
5. Tomorrow/today after 11 AM Mass we will have our rescheduled Parish Fiesta. We will have hot dogs, hamburgers, snow cones, delicious popcorn, face-painting, games for children, the Assumption train, games prepared by NMMI Cadets, water slides, and a surprise prepared by ASCS students. Children will have the opportunity to visit the fire truck, the ambulance and the police car to check what is inside and turn on the siren. Parents remember to bring a towel and dry clothes for your child.
 
6. Next Saturday, September 14 in the conference room, there will be an Altar Servers Training. We are asking all Altar Servers to participate. We will start at 11 AM.
