Announcements for the Week of 8/25/2024

1. The ushers will take the Special collection, the Mescalero/Ruidoso Disaster Relief Fund. Thank you for all your donations!
 
2. After Mass, the Bethlehem Holy Land Group will be selling handmade items from the Holy Land.
 
3. St. John's will be selling tickets after Masses on August 31 and September 1, for their annual raffle that will take place at their parish feast on September 22. See the poster for more information.
 
4. In September we will start the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (FORMERLY RCIA). OCIA is the process for adults who desire to join the Catholic faith and for those seeking more information on the Catholic Church. OCIA can also be a method for Catholics to complete their reception of the initiation sacraments. If you are interested please call the Parish Office.

5. Also in September, on Thursdays, we will start the Adult Faith Education Class. To register, please call the Parish Office.
 
6. Last Sunday we had a little fun related to the Parish Feast. Thank you to the musicians, face painters, youth group volunteers and members, parish staff members, and everyone who helped to have the fun. Please remember that on Sunday, September 8, we will have our rescheduled Parish Fiesta (mark your calendar).

7. Youth Faith Formation registration is still being accepted in the Church office. Registration closes on September 6.
